I would throughly recommend Iqbal, for a number of reasons.
Firstly, as a sole trader starting up, I had very little money to spend on a website. Iqbal's was one of the lowest quotes I received, but I did not feel that I was compromising on quality by accepting his bid.
Secondly, I was a bit wary of hiring someone outside the UK whose first language is not English because I was worried that I would not be able to communicate my needs effectively.
I had no such worries with Iqbal. I can genuinely say that he has one of the highest levels of written English I have come across (and I have worked as a university lecturer in England). Despite a time zone difference of 5 and a half hours, Iqbal responded to my messages within the hour, every time. He told me exactly what information I needed to provide him and he had provided me with a mock-up of the website within a few hours of the first day I accepted the bid. Fantastic!
His price was a quarter of most of the other bids (and more than ten times less than some!) yet he offered me much more than those higher priced bids. My website (which I have full control of to edit) is finished, 2 days after accepting Iqbal's bid! And best of all, my website looks great - a really professional finished result.
